THE SPORTS PAGE WAS THERE!

In the mid-1970s, Bay City/Bay County (Michigan) was a hot cauldron of men’s fastpitch and slowpitch softball. Women’s fastpitch softball leagues were also emerging. It was a decade of local softball competition unlike any other!

BOWLING NAMES YOU RECOGNIZE - Sports Page was there every night of the week (for almost 10 years) at Bay, Monitor, Alert, and Eastland – Sports Page covered the local bowling competition.

BAY CITY ENTERPRISE

In 1980, Sports Page became Bay City Enterprise and began weekly coverage of both Bay City and Bay County politics. Enterprise added a local Women’s Section, and the popular Sports Page became the “Sports Section” of the Bay City Enterprise.
