The top twenty Pony League players from the Eastside and the Westside met recently at Coryell Field. On Saturday night, the West defeated the East 2-0.

Saturday, the East came back and tripped the Westsiders by a 4-3 margin.

League officials have picked 25 players from these two teams as candidates for the Bay County Pony League tourna ment representative.

District tournament action begins July 23 at Coryell Field.

By that tir,ie, the original 25 will have been reduced to 15 and starting line-ups will have been determined.

The District Champion will advance to the State Finals

scheduled for July 30 at Walled Lake, Michigan. Regional play this year will be held August 6 at Rockford, Illinois. Regional winners will advanceto Divisional play the
following week and the World Series isscheduled for August 20 at Washington, Penn-' sylvania. ... Pony League
